Llama

I had so much fun making this llama. The fur is looped and looks really cool and makes it soft, of course I used a softer yarn too :)

Here's a closeup of the face.
The hat was also fun because it's removeable. I love making stuffed animals.

Boutique

I'm so excited to be a part of Terri's Blue Goose Boutique for their spring show. It took alot of work to get ready but I'm done and ready to go.

This is what my booth looks like. Thanks to the help of my family, it turned out great. Thanks guys!

COOKIE!

Here's my own little Cookie Monster. I got the idea to make these hats after I made an Elmo hat for my newphew "G".

Colin thought the hat was pretty fun.

T-REX

I originally planned to make this for my nephew, Mac, for his birthday, but I never got around to it. So after I gave him the his Christmas present I decided to go ahead and make it for him so that I could send it home with him after the holidays. It is one of my favorite creations.
When I gave it to him Mac carried it around the rest of night and started talking to it, calling him Buddy (I guess that is the T-Rex's name from his favorite show, Dinosaur Train).
I am very pleased with the way these dinosaurs turned out, but I'm even more pleased to have a nephew who enjoys them. Thanks Mac! I love you!

Pteradon Merry Christmas Mac

Sorry it has been so long since I posted something. I've been wanting to post this for awhile but I had to wait until after Christmas because I was giving it to my nephew, Mac. Mac is three and loves dinosaurs. He knows all the different kinds and knows whether or not they are a carnivores or herbivores. He is a very smart boy. I found this pattern at deliciouscrochet.com and it made me think of him and I just had to give it to him for Christmas.

Aunt Maggie, showing it off. We call it Petrie. (I don't know if Mac has named it yet)Mac opening it. "A dinosaur!"Everyone asking Mac what it is.
Merry Christmas Mac!

Ballerina Doll

I'm really excited about this doll because I made up the pattern myself. My niece, Emma, just turned 1 years old, and I was thinking about how she likes to dance and thought it would be fun to make her a ballerina doll. Grandma always said that little girls needed a dolly. So I started crocheting a doll and just hoped it would turn out, and it worked! I really like this doll and Emma likes it too, she gives it kisses, it's really cute.

I put leg warmers and ballet slippers on her to make her a little cuter. I was really happy with the result.
The tutu was an afterthought and it is completely removeable, which is fun.
Because I was making up the pattern I had no idea how big she was going to be. Turns out she is about 24" tall, she's almost as big as Emma. My sister Katie said that it wasn't a dolly so much as a companion, because of how big it is. :)

I'm glad Emma enjoys it, I had a lot of fun making it.

Another Frog

This is the same as the other frog except that I used a different yarn. I love this frog because of the multi green, it makes him look like some kind of color-changing frog. I think it's fun.

More Mary Jane Shoes

I really liked the Mary Jane shoes that I made for my niece, Emma, so I made some more. The pink and purple are colors I found to match the adorable buttons that I got. I love the little flower buttons, I think they really make the shoes.

Hairbows

I've been making hairbows out of flowers and ribbon. It's been fun to try different combinations of ribbon and jewels with the flowers. There are so many different sizes and colors, it's a lot of fun.

All of the bows have ribbon-covered clips on the back so that they are really soft and easy to put into little girls' hair.

Frog

This is from the same pattern book as the kitty. It is super soft, I love this yarn. He turned out bigger than I thought he would, which is awesome because now he's really huggable and fun.

Kitty

I think stuffed animals are so much fun to make. They actually are kind of hard to make (especially if you use fuzzy yarn like this), but the result is so much fun that I just can't resist making them. I found a Japanese pattern book with this kitty and lots of other animals in it. I'm hoping to make a frog next. We'll see.

Mary Jane Shoes

These are Mary Jane shoes that I made for my niece Emma (those are her cute little legs in the pictures). My sister Ashlee told me about little Mary Janes and Loafers that she had seen that were crocheted. After seeing how cute these can be I found a pattern I like. These shoes have a double strap that is connected by little buttons. Hopefully I can make some loafers soon to show. I love these shoes!

Cuddle Blanket

These blankets are sooooo soft. They are so comfortable and are perfect for cuddling. These babies look so cute in them. My sister Cori uses them for photography props which looks so cute. I made a brown and blue one for my son but I'm too selfish and I use it all the time, but I try to share :).

Newsboy Hat

I made these hats because I saw how cute they were on little kids. They really do work for all ages. I love Brielle's curls coming out from under the hat. They make great photography props or just a really cute hat.

This one may be a bit big for little Emma :)
