Little Penguins

I made these originally in sets of four to be the madagascar penguins. They were different sizes to show the different characters of Skipper, Kowalski, Private and Rico. They've since been split up but that doesn't make them any less fun. It's amazing what you find out kids love and these penguins are the perfect little pocket pals.

Soft Blue Afghans

The title almost says it all. I love these blankets, they are so cuddly, soft. I have made them in other colors besides blue too, I just really like blue so there is a lot of it.

Owl Hat

My good friend Lisa asked me if I can figure out an owl hat, so I went ahead and tried it. It turned out to be one of the cutest hats I have made (at least I think so). So now I have these really fun hats.  I've made them in several different sizes too.  They have been a lot of fun.  Thank you Lisa for the suggestion! (Anyone else notice that Jennsen is liking being my model now)

Hawaiian Flower Ring

I got this idea after making different kinds of wire rings. The flower looks so dainty and colorful, it really gives you a little tropical flare.

More Sewing Pins

These are different sewing pins that I have tried. I like trying to figure out different designs that would be fun. Here I have Ladybugs, Butterflies, Bees and White Lilys. They are really delicate and fun, they make great decorations for your pincushion.

Carseat Cover

I made this for a friend that was having a baby. I made it black with white polka dots and the inside is pink. The straps are connected with snaps and are easy to take off and put on, and they hold really well. It's nice to have it so easily removable because I know that some moms like to use them as breastfeeding blankets too. I covered the straps with ribbon/button flower bows just to dress it up a little. I think it turned out really cute.

Alligator

I don't think there has ever been a sweeter alligator. He has got the biggest eyes and looks like he is just waiting around for someone to hug him. I loved working on all those little ridges on his back. If you like the pattern check out deliciouscrochet.com

Angel Soft Purple Blanket

These are still my favorite blankets. They are soooooo soft!!! I made this one for my daughter. I think the dark purple is so pretty, and the contrast between it and the white make this blanket so beautiful. It looks a little mature for a baby blanket, but I guess that fits her personality :)

Striped Hat

My cousin said that she liked the hat for the llama so much that I should make ones for adults. My first attempt was for a child sized one so here is Jennsen wearing it with the llama, she was kind of grumpy that I was distracting her from Elmo :)

Dragon

This guy turned out to be almost 3 feet long. He's HUGE! He was so fun to make too! I put some wire in the wings so that they can bend. I had so much fun I think I will do it again in different colors. For the pattern check out deliciouscrochet.com.

I put a wire in this guy so that he was bendable too, so he is extra fun for little kids. My nephew loved playing with the snake especially since his tail really rattles too.

Red Apple Pin

My mom has some great sewing pins that she got from a friend that were little plastic flowers and I thought it would be so fun to have some different kinds of sewing pins. So after searching around on the internet I got the idea to make little apples. They are really detail oriented but are actually not that hard to make. Let me know if your interested in a tutorial.
