My Little Pony

While going shopping with my daughter (who of course wants everything she sees), we came across a My Little Pony doll.  I thought to myself "could I make something like that?" so I gave it a try.  Now I have three new My Little Pony dolls: Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle and Pinky Pie.  They turned out so cute, and they were so fun to make.  Now I just have to make an Apple Jack, Rarity, and Flutter Shy.

Boots the Monkey

My daughter loves to pretend that she is Dora, so of course she needed her best friend, Boots to go on all her adventures with her.  Life size Boots gets taken everywhere and I'm glad my daughter loves things that are so much fun to make :)

Sock Monkey

It's a Sock Monkey!!!  So this is my first attempt at a sock monkey.  I made it from super soft socks (which actually turned out to be a mistake because it tears easily and made it hard to stuff).  My daughter picked out the socks.  It was really fun and didn't take very long.  I got the free pattern from craftpassion.com.  Check it out, it has a lot of great craft ideas.

Cookie Monster

 

Elmo really needs a buddy.  Thanks to a small request about Cookie Monster, Elmo now has a friend to hang out with (that is if my daughter doesn't steal him away).  I love the blue color, it's perfect for Cookie Monster but it is also really soft and easy on the eyes.  Him and Elmo both stand at about 18", the perfect height for a cuddle buddy.

Monkey-ing Around!

I love this monkey.  He has always been one of my favorites.  He is just so cute and fun.  I put bendable wire in his tail so that he can hang from different things.  My daughter loves to bend it, it's funny to watch her try to straighten it out and then hang him from his tail again.

Baa, Baa, White Sheep

This guy was really fun to make with all the loopy fur.  I sure do like making all these fun animals.  If you like these patterns you can get them at deliciouscrochet.com.

Elmo

My kids love Elmo!  I could never find a pattern that I liked and so I finally decided to make my own pattern.  It turned out so cute!! And he is HUGE!  He is 27 inches tall!  My kids think he is great, which makes the whole project worth every moment.

Kitty

I like the older look of this kitty.  He is super soft and I love the little white socks.  He was really hard to make because this yarn makes it really hard to see your stitches but it was worth it for that soft feel.

Einstein

We like to call my dad Einstein.  So this last Christmas I adapted a pattern to make a miniature Einstein to hang out with my dad in his office.  It was a fun pattern to make, and he turned out super awesome.

Ballerina Doll

I made this doll for my niece who started dancing right when she realized it was possible.  I keep telling myself that I'm going to make ones in different colors, with different hair, but I haven't yet.  The face reminds me of the old style dolls that were made by your great-grandma, which I always thought were so cool.

Car

This car ended up a lot bigger than I originally meant for it to.  But I must say that it is a lot of fun to play with.  It's got a lot of personality and is really soft. 

Stuffed Horse - It's a Paint!

Here's the real horse.

I got asked if I could make a horse that looked like someone's real Paint.  So after studying some pictures, I gave it a try.  I LOVE IT!  It was so much fun to make, I love these little challenges.  I thought that the horse came out looking alot like the real one.
